A NOAA chart cropped around North Captiva. Captiva Pass is on the left edge, the South Banks run down to the bottom, and Safety Harbor, Foster Bay and Captiva Shoal sit along the island's bay side. North Captiva was part of Captiva until a 1921 hurricane opened Redfish Pass.
